Csányi Pincészet Zrt, the Bonafarm Group’s winery has long traditions as its predecessor was founded by Zsigmond Teleki under the name of Chateau Teleki Borászat in 1881.

The vineyards of Csányi Pincészet are to be found on the best slopes of the Villány wine region, including those called Kopár, Csillagvölgy and Hársos. The size of our total production area is 370 hectares. We are planning to increase the area of our cultivated lands and improve the efficiency of our cultivation methods, and bring our winery closer to our audience with a penchant for wines and transfer more of our expertise to those interested in wines.

Our winery has, through recent large-scale development projects, become a modern wine making plant where, even though we have the technology required for making wines according to today’s standards, we never forget our great wine making traditions whose essence is preserving and presenting in the wines the values produced in the grapes, as fully and as reliably as possible.

In terms of the methods, our state-of-the-art grape processing system relies on traditions; after maturing in wood and wood and barrique casks our wines are safely bottled on our state-of-the-art bottling line. We produce some 2.2 million bottles a year.

We have a highly advanced quality assurance system in place; we operate one of Hungary’s best equipped winery laboratories where in addition to testing and analysing our own wines we provide analytical services for many of the Villány wine region’s vintners.

The quality assurance system also includes SAP, an integrated business management system covering the entire company. Our commitment to quality is reflected by the work of every one of our employees, from grape growing to sales. In our quality assurance system our workers names are recorded together with the wines so even after the passing of a decade it is possible to check who carried out what work. Cleanliness, precision, expertise and reliability provide a firm foundation for future success. We do believe that customer satisfaction is the key to long term success in the market.
