Hungerit Zrt. is one of the oldest participants of the poultry processing and poultry meat product manufacturing sector in Hungary. The company processes 21 million broiler chickens, 11 million broiler ducks and 300 thousand broiler geese, manufacturing 66,000 tonnes of finished products, each year. The company’s main products include primarily processed whole and cut poultry (chicken, ducks and geese), highly processed fried products and roast duck products.

The plant in Szentes operates two slaughtering lines, one for large birds, one for the primary processing of chicken, an overhead automated chicken cutting, breast filleting and rating system. At present breaded products are manufactured on two other lines, while at the plant in Vámospércs specially spiced and marinaded and boned roast duck products are manufactured.

VALDOR is Hungerit Zrt’s own-manufactured and distributed product family, providing consumers with primary processed as well as breaded and fried products. Besides the domestic market the company also sells its premium poultry products on foreign markets: they export their products to as many as 35 countries, which accounts for 45% of its total turnover.
